Darkstone

Sourced from Blackrock Mountain, a former dwarven homeland in the Earthen Peaks. The city was lost to creatures of shadow. All the attempts to reclaim the city have failed. Only a few returned and all of them had gone completely mad, rambling about "deep evils".

A few shards of the stone were found in the bags of the adventurers and some have been found in the area. Even small amounts have the ability to corrupt an area. The earth turns dark and poisonous, plants wither or turn into vicious animated creatures, and creatures become rabid.

Dragons

Black dragons have a first name and a send name (Sar'thaza). Children of that dragon add a 'nel to the middle. This signifies that they are still beholden to their parent. (Sereth'nel'thaza).

Elves

Sil'thyra

one of the older lines. They have mostly left the area, esp after the events of Yuffdar. They still have a presence in the Capital of Cerelia. They maintain peace with the empire, mostly because they would nearly eradicate each other in an outright war. Their home is to the south of Cerelia, in the woods along the sea (think redwoods / california).

They are enemies of the resistance, mostly because the resistance is against the norm.

Tharseff

A dnd.race.sea_elf tribe that lives in the islands, grottos, and shallow waters off the coast of Ardesh. They are on good terms with both Southmoore and Northmoore, though generally skeptical of other races. They constantly skirmish with dnd.monster.merrow in an ongoing fight for a large island a ways to the north. The island is crescent moon shaped around a huge inland pool. The magic of the sea is quite strong and neither side wants to lose control.

Recently, the dnd.monster.sahuagin have been coming up from the depths and raiding the Tharseff's outposts and smaller villages, which are shared with merfolk.

Shiffias
